Default IPS - Http Header Block Parse Error

Hello,

Once again I am coming empty handed in regards to all the proper information, but thought I would throw this out there while I am waiting for more info from the security admin for another company.

Our company has a website and dealers etc come to this website from behind their firewalls. We have one user who recently complained that we have bad coding on some of our sites that are throwing the following error at them when trying to access the page:

Http Header Block Parse Error

The administrator had to override his http IPS protection in order to get the full page to load behind their IPS.

Other then some cursing at us, and the error mentioned above he did not provide any detail as to what Firewall/IPS device he is using. Our Web coders have stated they have nothing out of the ordinary in the http headers.

Some are saying it is a false positive, but I believe the IPS is pointing out code that is not RFC compliant.

Has anyone any experience with this, particularily with the error above?

Ugirl
