I have tried to use 802.1q vlans with Intel and HP NICs with no success "blue screen". It was not supported under w2k with NG FP3, I guess nothing have changed? Anyone out there who has another experience with this? NGX hfa01, CP-Express, ClusterXL, HA New Mode on Win2003. Regards /Johan

I'm using VLANs on Windows2000 and CheckPoint AI_55 for 2 years. Everything works fine. The only problem is blue screens time to time if trying to configure new VLAN without cpstop. I'm using HP Proliant network config tool for VLAN configuration. Always update you NIC with recent drivers. This is not supported by CheckPoint officially.

The Intel cards are probably your best bet to get something working. I've had by far the best luck with pro/1000X cards of anything I've used. Good luck, let us know how it turns out. -jlh
