Memory Usage in Checkpoint Hi All, I have question about memory usage in Checkpoint. I realized that the memory required in checkpoint is quite big, especially if you're in stand alone installation. I think checkpoint tried to allocate memory as much as it need for itself, and never let go until the machine turned off. I didn't say checkpoint doesn't do memory reallocation, but what i think is checkpoint always keep memory for it self and let the non checkpoint product take the left over. Please correct me if i am wrong, this only my thought. If it is true, how can i know that the memory is enough for Checkpoint? currently i have checkpoint firewall (stand alone) that has free memory left is 10% only. But all chekcpoint product still running well. Since i have to monitor the capacity of the firewall, when can i determine that i need more memory for my checkpoint machine? Thank you regards Kalem |
