Default Peforming a Log Switch

I setup my CLM to do a log switch at midnight every night. Now, I have 5 files from last night at midnight:

2008-03-19_235900.logaccount_ptr 1KB
2008-03-19_235900.log 569,814KB
2008-03-19_235900.loginitial_ptr 39,978KB
2008-03-19_235900.logptr 39,978KB
2008-03-19_235900.logLuuidDB 16KB

Do I need to backup all these files if I want to view this daily log at another time, or just the *.log file (the largest one)?
