Default Daily checks

Hi,

I'm looking for a few ideas for our nmc to do daily checks on our firewalls. From the top of my head I can think of checking through the tracker for control and alert messages, checking the diskfree using df -h, checking the vrrp status of the modules, cpu utilisation.

Is there any documentation on daily health checks?

thanks,

J

Hi jimfitz,

What i've done in the past is to create a read only account for the nmc and asked them to look at SmartView Monitor (or SmartView Status in AI). This is my opinion is a good one-stop shop to check; clusterXL, disk space, memory etc

Hope this helps.

Regards
