| Hi there SPLAT R65 I try to setup the snmp daemon that it is only listening on one specified port and not on all available interfaces. Usually a simple task with the keyword "agentaddress" followed by the IP address. e.g. agentaddress 10.10.10.1 for listening only on the interface which have 10.10.10.1 and ingnoring all other. This works on many of my plain Red Hat boxes, but not on SPLAT... The agent dies with: snmpd[30995]: Error opening specified endpoint "10.10.10.1" snmpd[30995]: Server Exiting with code 1 Does anybody know how to bind the "SPLAT-snmpd" to one specified Interface? Thanks for any input! Bruce |
