Default Syslog messages - invalid community?

Can anyone help me identify what the following syslog message might hint at being wrong? There are hundreds upon thousands of this exact same entry for each day of logs. We have multiple firewalls sending to this particular log server and it is several of them that are all getting this error:

[LOG_ERR] snmpd: Received request with invalid community

Any and all help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Default Re: Syslog messages - invalid community?

The only place "community" is used in Check Point itself that I know of concerns VPNs.

It may also be that the SNMP community password was changed but those firewalls didn't get the change or they're using the wrong SNMP version.

HTH,

Ray
