Default DAIP NGX SPLAT - Remove from Database

Guys,

Would appreciate any help on the following.

I am in the process of removing a DAIP SPLAT box from my database, the associated security policy, network, group objects have already been removed. When I attempt to delete the firewall object itself, I get the 'used in another object' warning. When viewing this it says that it is used in 'transferred_packages' as a host and is removable. I have no idea what this object is or where it is located in the database?

I do not want to delete the object and end up leaving some residue entries in the database, so if anyone has come across this before, I would appreciate any help.

regards

I believe that this refers to SMARTUpdate. Have you used SMARTUpdate in the past to update the DAIP gateway.

You should however be able to remove safely

yes, we use SmartUpdate to patch our boxes. I thought I was something like that as 'transferred_packages' does seem to indicate a SmartUpdate operation.

Thanks for you help, much appreciated.

Andy
