Hi all,

I received the following error message when try to save & install the policy, please advice any workaround.

"The Changes Could not be saved. Please make sure that all Firewall-1 services are up & running. For more information use the status manager application."

Disk space is not a issue. All services is runnning.

Please advice why i getting this error message and any workaround to solve the problem.

can you check if the objects.c file has r/w access for the user login.I had same problem when upgrading NG to NG AI for management server. I was not able to save policy as the files did not have permissions.I had to do a chmod for all .C , fws etc files

Thanks for the info. I believe rebooting the machine will temporary solve the problem. Is there any long term solutions to this. According to some sources, it could be a memory leak problem, and might need to reinstall the firewall. Anyone here has any solutions to this problem?

For info, the Firewall module and management server are running NG FP3.

Thanks.
