Hi
This option will help you in providing aditional security to your DNS server.
When you check the option your server is added in the Smartdefence settings. If you want to see the added server Goto Smartdefence Tab-->then in the left side Tab expand Application Intelligence--->then expand DNS-->then click on DNS servers view.

I hope this will clarify your issue.

Regards
Ranjit

Hi Forum,

I am completely new to the checkpoint enviroment and perhaps I am in the wrong area of the forum if so my appologies for this.
Perhaps one of you could point me in the right direction.
I have some doubts as to the function of the following.

click...checkpoint dashboard >> nodes >> properties of the node >> general properties >> configure servers >> and check DNS >> click okay.
What does this function do ?
Hope you can help.
Regards,
Remco
