Default Finding disused objects

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to find all disused objects in dashboard to save me doing it manually.

Is there a clever way to do this, or is it the manual way for me?

Kind regards

James

Yup,

if look at the menu bar in the dashboard, click Search
Then
Query Network objects
On the right hand drop down menu select unused objects.

hope that helps

Dan

I believe that the unused object query only references objects which are explicitly used. Automatically NAT'd objects that are not explicitly in use in your policy elsewhere will show up in the unused objects list. Could be a problem if you're permitting that NAT traffic through the security policy with a broader object instead of the specific NAT'd object.

I tried running that particular report but it returned no results. I need to determine all of the object on a specific CMA(P-1 R61) that are not being used. We are currently experiencing performance issues related to the objects database being too large. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
