Default Issues with Webdav connections reset during upload

We are experiencing issues with users trying to use WebDAV to move 300MB files to a external SharePoint server. It get about 150MB and then an error occurs stating that the"connection has been reset"

During troubleshooting, you receive an error when trying to upload to the public IP but everything works fine when trying to upload to the private IP. This Sharepoint server is residing in the DMZ.

In the logs, there is HTTP traffic with all Accepted traffic. We have SmartDefense enabled, but nothing shows up in the logs. We do not have Web Intelligence enabled.

We are running 2 Nokia IP350's in a HA cluster. They are running IPSO 4.0 with NGX R60. The Management server is running NGX R65.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Which device is sending the reset: the FW or the Sharepoint server?
Use tcpdump on the Nokia's to figure this out.

Had this exact issue. It's a SmartDefense issue. Turn off ASCII Only Response Headers (don't ask...). If that's not on, start playing with SmartDefense profiles and turning off protections until you find the right one.

And remember the new Check Point mantra, "if it's broken, and it doesn't make any sense why, it's probably a SmartDefense issue..."
