Multiples CPU with Checkpoint

Hi,

If I have a Sun solaris or secureplatform machine with more then 1 CPU, do I need performance pack to use the extra CPU?

Yes I have a license but the question is do I need it. There is some issue with SecureXL and QoS.

NGX includes the multi-CPU functionality by default.
If you have a POWER or other PPK license I would suggest using it if you can

I would use a splat on a hp380 dual core. We just switch from a sun 440 with 2 cpu's (r55) to an HP dl380g5 dual dual core.
On the sun 1 of the cpu's was always idle even when the other cpu was 100% active, we have used multi cpu lisence with no luck.
When we migrate to the splat all four cpu's had an equal load.
