ftp problem

I upgraded my smartcenter and firewall to NGX r60 hfa05 and now I am having ftp problems. When I do ls nothing happens

see below

ftp> ls
200 PORT command successful.

The checkpoint side said to modify ftp.def file with some variables to 0 but that did not work

any ideas?
