Default Webserver Load Balancing
I have 2 web servers in DMZ. I need to implement simple load balancing in a round robin method. Do I need any license to implement this? Currently I am using dedicated load balancer. I need to remove this. So is it a proven techonolgy? The checkpoint document says some agent has to be installed on the servers. Is it mandatory since I am doing simple load balancing in a round robin method?

For ConnectControl function you nead licencse:
CPFW-CC-1 Check Point ConnectControl Add-on for VPN-1 Gateway

You don't install any thing on web server. CC may ping server to check server activity.

ConnectControl can do round robin easy. Also, depending on what you are doing with those web servers, simple DNS round robin may work, and be very good in cost/benefit ;)
