fw_ipaddr: cannot get my ipaddr

I'm getting this error, what does it mean?

Answer This error message means that FireWall-1 is not able to resolve an IP address to it's own nodename.

On Unix or Windows, you should be able to type in the command "hostname" to get the system's host name. You should then add an entry to your hosts file with this name. The IP this host should resolve to is usually the "external" IP (usually routable for all attached networks). -- RobertGraham - 23 Feb 2004
