Default Check Point Enterprise Supports program

Hi all,

Am not sure if this is a right place for me to get an advice about Check Point Enterprise Supports program but I will be happy if someone here can explain to me about it.

Our team would like to subscribe Check Point Enterprise Premium Supports program for our existing firewall. Currently our, Enterprise Software Subscription has already expired and we would like to subscribe for Premium Support instead. My question is whether the Enterprise Premium Supports covers only one single software/license (e.g. one Enterprise Premium Supports per SmartCenter).

Kindly advice.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Al

pop_alex,

the way I understood it was that regardless of support type it is costed on each licence. Obviously the better the support package the higher the cost but essentially you will be paying support for each product / licence. There are a few resellers on this board so maybe one of those guys can help out.

One point to note Checkpoint used to charge support re-instatement fees for support agreements that had lapsed. ie an additional charge over and above the support fees in order to re-activate it. If you're just out of support see if a friendly reseller can do something for you on this one.

Support is caculated based on the total list price of your usercenter account. The basic costs are:

SS 15%
SS + Standard 30%
SS + Premium 40%

Discounts based on volume.

As for the resync fees, if you are not too far out of date, you should be able to get the contract back-dated
