Default FWD: log discarded Unification process failed

Hi, we have a firewall R60 HFA04 at interval of 1 or 2 minutes gives this error in the log tracker:

FWD: log discarded Unification process failed

I check in the fwd.elg file in the log folder on the firewall and i see this message :

CKluDynamicFormat::create : the combination of formats {122,123,135,138,158,159,159} results in two fields with identical name - message_info FWKluProcessLog: failed !!!

It seems that the fwd daemon sometimes does not create is log correctly
It is duplicating two fields 159,159 ??????

Anybody had this trouble before ?

Thanks in advance

We have got the same problem. Though we are using R61. I guess you are using Floodgate, is it ? What we discovered is that when you change the log type in Floodgate from accounting to log, the messages are not there anymore. First we thought that perhaps installing HFA01 for R61 would probably solve the problem, but this is not the case.

HI All

Like the first post ,

we have a Nokia cluster VRRP, in R60 HFA03 at interval of 10 sec gives this error in the log tracker:

I check in the fwd.elg file in the log folder on the firewall and i see this message :

CKluDynamicFormat::create : the combination of formats {122,139,158,159,159}results in two fields with identical name - message_info FwKluProcessLog: failed !!!

It seems that the fwd daemon sometimes does not create is log correctly

We do not have floodgate license installed , as the last post mentionned.

We also have the error messages on the Nokias every time we try to compile, log unification processn that does not allow us to correcy unified them .

We try the Nokia Product Notice PN-0028

on the master :

Jun 11 11:36:44 gatew [LOG_CRIT] kernel: Process 2872 killed by vm_pageout -- out of swap
Jun 11 11:37:27 gatew [LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: Log buffer is full
Jun 11 11:37:44 gatew [LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: lost 298 log/trap messages
Jun 11 11:37:44 gatew [LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: Log buffer is full
Jun 11 11:37:48 gatew [LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: lost 7 log/trap messages
Jun 11 11:37:51 gatew [LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: Log buffer is full
Jun 11 11:37:54 gatew [LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: lost 2 log/trap messages
Sur le slave :
Jun 11 11:37:13 tor [LOG_CRIT] kernel: Process 2683 killed by vm_pageout -- out of swap

I dont know if both issue ar link since the non unification process might overflow the swap.

Any help is really welcome

Many thanks in advance

Someone please report this to support. If there isn't a fix out there for it, R&D probable doesn't know about it.

Hello,

I have following enviroment:

4.2-BUILD042_HF003
VRRP HA 2*IP560
R65 HFA_02

I am seeing my fwd.elg file jammed packed with these errors,
CKluDynamicFormat::create : the combination of formats {111,122,123,135,138,158,159,159}results in two fields with identical name - message_info
FwKluProcessLog: failed !!!
CKluDynamicFormat::create : the combination of formats {111,122,123,135,138,158,159,159}results in two fields with identical name - message_info
FwKluProcessLog: failed !!!

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is? or how to solve the problem, only thing I can think of in my case is IPSO build can be brought up to 78, but I really don't feel like working this weekend.

Thanks
