How to enable Large Scale Manager (LSM)? When you start up the GUI and attempt to log into the management console using the LSM GUI, you get an error that says you need a new license, despite having an eval license or the SmartCenter PRO Add-on.
On a management station, execute the command: lsmenabler on. To tell a firewall it is a profile-based gateway, use the command lsmenabler -r on.
With NG AI R54 you have to enable LSM in order to be able to manage VPN-1 Edge devices, this is not the case anymore with NG AI R55
