Default Difference between hosts and gateways

Hello,

If you want to create a new Node object, you can choose between two types: Gateway or Host. If I'm not wrong, the configuration fields are the same.

I know the difference between a host an a gateway but I don't know if there is any difference for FW1. I mean, can I do any more or different with a gateway than with a host?

Thanks in advance. Ruth.

Unless it's a check point or OSE object no there is no difference in the firewall. There might be some in reporting.
