HFA's general question

I have posted many questions on issues i have with SPLAT and FW1 on windows 2003 -

The thing is some have been fixed with help from people on this board [many thanks for that]

But i was thinking that i have never installed any HFA's

Which begs the question are these misconfigurations on my part or maybe an issue with the software and thus a patch is needed

This is really down to my question on the simplified VPN question - and not being able to get it working yet [Still]

Just asking
