They control the syncing and HA operation on mgmt HA. Removing them can help to resolve issues.

Thanks,

Do you or anyone know what the function of each file is ?

And if you do remove them to resolve an issue with management HA, what sort of risk of causing other issues does this carry ?

Thanks again for the time taken to give replies to my questions, im on what seems like a vertical learning curve sometimes.

Just create an upgrade_export and you have no risk. I have never crashed a provider or a Smart Center HA doing it..

Routerkid1,

Thanks for the reply, will do as you suggest and perform upgrade_export, will post back if it resolves my issue.

Well that went great.

CPSTOP, followed by removig all files in $FWDIR/conf/mgha and then CPSTART, on secondary manager.

When logged into Dashboard on the Primary/Active, POLICY---Management High Availability showed the status as 'Never Sync'd' then manaual synchronisation worked first time

Thanks to everyone for all your help.
