Default Need to configure HA Smartcenter server

Hi,

I need to configure the the Smartcenter server for my checkpoint architecture in HA from the existing Single Smartcenter server environment.

Can anyone suggest a good doc for this..?!

CheckPoint_R65_SmartCenter_AdminGuide -> Chapter 11 - Management High Availability

Notes:
The license with HA-MGMT goes on the Primary SCS
The Second license for SCS must be licensed to the Secondary SCS's IP - this cannot be done centrally so do not license it for the Primary SCS

Hi gladiatorkev,

It's a fairly straight forward process. I used the documents lammbo stated and implemented smart centre HA on a windows platform.

You just need to ensure you have purchased the right licenses and connecitivity (routing/rules) are open between the two smart centres

cplic check mgmtha (i think so)

VPN-1 Power licenses will come default free with mgmt ha..

Hi lunatrick,

If you view the link below, there is P1 documentation on the same page. This covers HA in a P1 setup. I haven't implemented HA on P1 but used this doc for a single P1 server build.
