merging two smartcentres

Hi,

Some advice required regarding the merging of two separate smartcentres into one. the second manager will then be converted into the backup smartcentre.

i was thinking about using the database export tools to accomplish this. does the database import tool overwrite the existing database or does it merge with the existing objects?
