As I know, only SmartCenter Power (CPPWR-SC) has included license for Management High Availability.

I have

CPMP-SCPRO-U-NGX x1
CPMP-CXL-HA-1-NGX x2 ( i have two clusters)

on my primary Management Server

and one

CPMP-SCPRO-U-NGX on my secondary mgmt server

according to the website

SmartCenter Pro Utilizes Check Point’s Security Management ArchiTecture (SMART) to enable one-click centralized security management and policy distribution of an unlimited number of VPN-1 Pro Gateways.
SmartCenter Pro includes:

SmartDashboard – user interface for defining and managing the security policy.

SmartUpdate - centralized, one-click software and license management.

SmartMap - a visual policy editor graphically depicts network layout and illustrates the effect of security policies.

SmartDirectory - storage and retrieval of VPN-1/FireWall-1 user attributes on LDAP servers.

SmartLSM – provides management tools for thousands of gateways.

Management High Availability – automatic synchronization of back up SmartCenter servers ensuring resilient security management.

SmartView Tracker – displays detailed log information on all enforcement points.

SmartView Monitor – provides traffic and performance monitoring.

SmartPortal - provides a web portal to view security policies and objects without installing dedicated SmartConsole clients.

sounds like scpower is a marketing upgrade

the fundamental question is,
do I need

2 x CPMP-CXL-HA-1-NGX

or

4 x CPMP-CXL-HA-1-NGX

cheers

If you have two clusters, so you need two licenses. It doesn't depend on number of SmartCenters.

I forgot about SCPRO because now all name of licenses are changed. Now I think, CPPWR-SC is "new name" for SCPRO.
