Hiya Zarcoff

I sat this exam at the NG AI level. I see that the NGX version is out now, but I don't think that the content will have changed greatly. There will probably be some stuff on the newer stuff around global VPNS, but I think it will be pretty similar.

If you have got access to the Provider-1 course notes, they are pretty good to follow.

As I recall, it's not too difficult an exam - just make sure you know the terminology for the different components, and different types of architectures - i.e. single MDS, MDS+MLM, HA, etc. Know about the different sorts of HA - container-level, and MDS-level, and what the differences are. Learn the different license strings, and which ones give you what.

Looking at the objectives, you'll probably get a few questions on global policy, plus some stuff on synchronisation. Similar to standard mgmt server HA, you probably want to know what the different states mean.

I think you might need to know what the different tabs are used for in the MDG too, and the different views.

If you've used the product, you should be OK, but make sure you brush up on the stuff that you perhaps don't use every day.

Hi

I appeared for NGAI and cleared the exam. The exam i felt was not tough for NGAI, i have see the NGX courseware and its all pretty much same as NGAI but certainly there are some differences. If you need any help on the paper for NGAI please get back to me.

nandushankar,

When you say "clear the exam" I am assuming you mean pass, so I must congrads you on your latest achievement which I believe is a great mile stone. Anyway you say you saw the courceware of NGX P1 materials and it look somewhat simular, but can you provide a dump base on what is fresh in your head now of the exam. I am interesting in taking the NGX P1 exam soon but still working on getting the courceware for it, wish me luck on that. But I would still appreciate any info what so ever.

exam time?
number of Q?
any recomendations:

Thank you
