Default NGX on CentOS Linux

I have found that NGX sucessfully runs on CentOS 3. CentOS is built on RHEL source code with very little changes. More info on CentOS at www.centos.org.

Note: CentOS is not a supported OS for NGX. This information is only provided for the purpose of demonstrating and testing NGX in the RHEL environment without having to purchase RHEL. I do not recommend installing NGX on CentOS for your production firewall.

till that point you run into problems and trying to get support from CP, I would never suggest to run such a setup in productive environment

If you count running on SPLAT as running on Linux, then quite a lot of people I would imagine.

I can't really see what the point is in running on vanilla Linux. Only if you need some funky driver or something maybe, or you want to install some other software, and you're getting into dependency hell trying to do install the RPM on SPLAT.

That's my point, I am not counting SPLAT.
