License installed but not working

Hi

I am using one of my production Smart center server License in my test lab Machine. with all configuration same except the host name and OS. My original server is splat R60 where as the test lab machine is Windows 2003 OS R60 The license got installed properly but when i try to login through the Smart dashboard it gives error. What can be the issue. some thing similar to this

Warning: Can't find ::cpxp-ci-vpx-50-ngx in cp.macro

Hot Fixes are not installed will that fix the issue..

Hi vijayant,

It looks like you have a CP.macro which does not have your licenses string in it. Update your CP.macro file.

Hotfix will also update your cp.macro file. I think you will need at least HFA02 to get that license string read.

I updated the system with latest Hotfix HFA06 and its working fine now. Thanks to all.

I know a lot of people do this, and in general Check Point isn't really going to pay attention if this is a full isolated lab (i.e. no Internet connection), but it is not allowed by the license, should not be done for extended periods of time and really not posted about here.
