Default License?

suppose i have 1 smartcenter server managing 2 gateways...so in all i need 3 license...1 central and 2 locals..right?.....i have download 1 central license from usercenter....what are the steps for installing local licenses on gateway?

you can either paste it on your gateways or you can use SmartUpdate to add licenses and attach them on the gateways.

No I would use 3 Central Licenses, license everything to the IP of the SMARTCenter and then attach the licenses to the Gateways via SMARTUpdate.

That way if the gateway IP changes then the licenses will still be valid.

ya..u r correct....but suppose if i dont want central lic for gateways then...from where i can get the local lic.....is it from usercenter?...if yes then what r the steps?

When you set up the license in the User Center, you just select local instead of central.
