Default IPSEC licences?

I am running CP NG AI R55 firewall that hasa some IPSEC tunnels to 3rd party gateways. I'd like to know, what is the maximum number of gateways I can have? What license determines it?

The only limit in terms of site to site IPSEC connections is the amount that the box can physically cope with in terms of encrypting and decrypting.

Check Point license on the number of hosts protected, not the number of connections

Correct, unless you have an Express license. They are limited to 3 site-to-site VPNs unless you purchase more.

Really, I have run more then 3 without buying extra licenses before. Or is this tied in with the number of gateways that can manage. My VPN's were admittedly mainly to 3rd party so I didn't manage them.
