Default Evaluation of Eventia Reporter

Hi

I got a trial/evaluation license to evaluate Eventia, and I have used Smart Update to load and attach the license. I have attached the license on the smart center server successfully. I am getting the following error when running Eventia

"Licensing violation:
There are licenses for 0 gateways but the registered gateway count is 1. Either add more licenses or register specific gateways (E90200). Eventia Reporter is switched now to read only mode until the licensing violation will be resolved."

I am running NGX R60 on IP530 cluster of two boxes and the smart center is running on windows 2003.

Help??

Eventia (R63/65 anyway) requires a local license assigned to the Eventia box itself. If you are running EVR on the SmartCenter (Not recommended) the license should work either way (unless you have an Analyzer license and not a Reporter license).

I am sure the license is for Reporter and not Analyser. In the Smart Update under licences I can see the license as an attached central license. Is there anything I can try out?

From the system itself run a cplic print and make sure the license is there.

If that doesn't work, call TAC and select licensing, they will be able to help.

Hi

I did the cplic print on the Smartcenter server and the license is there. Is there a way of checking through the Checkpoint website?
