Default No Valid License On Smart Center Server

Hi

When I am trying to access R61 Standalone having SPLAT plateform from Smart Dashboard, I am getting error "No Valid License On Smart Center Server". The same is accessible from Smart Update. In Smart Update I can see two licences, one is central license other is local. For both Expiration Date is never. But still it is not accessible. I tried detaching and attaching the Lic again. Also I detached the Lic then rebooted th eFirewall and attached the Lic again but all in vain.

Please help

Go into SmartCenter and regenerate the licenses as Central; Make sure the IP address is correct; readd the license

SmartUpdate will always connect so you can add licenses to systems you can't get a command line on.

Is HFA 01 for R61 already applied? There is an issue with the new UTM licenses with are not recognized in R61 without HFAs. If this is the case you will have to apply HFA 01 and then attach the license again.

Hi Manrag/chillijim

I detached and attached the license many times by using Smartupdate -- It did not work.
Is HFA 01 a Hotfix ? We have not applied any hotfixes. Is this freely available or do we need to buy them. How do we impliment a Hotfix

Issue solved temporarily: We got an Eval license from vendor for testing for this Standalone R61. We used it and the issue was resolved, we are able to connect using Smart Dashboard.

But as this is eval lic. we will be back to initial stage after 30 days..
When I go to License option in #cpconfig (using SSH) I get this error.
"Warning: Can't find ::CPMP-SCT-1-NGX in cp.macro. License version might be not compatible"

Is that a clue.. ?

You will need to apply the latest HFA from support.checkpoint.com. It should fix the problem. If this is a new install, your reseller should be able to get it for you if you didn't buy a support contract.
