Need to upgrade or acquire a new license to NGX R65

Hi experts,

I'm currently having a Check Point NG AI R55 firewall running on Solaris (for enforcement servers) and Windows (for SmartCenter) platform. I'm planning to upgrade to NGX R65 but before that I have two questions:-

i. Do I need to upgrade my existing licenses (NG AI R55) to NGX R65? If I want to upgrade to R65.

ii. Or, do I have to purchase a whole new licenses for NGX R65?

1) yes u have to upgrade
2) If you have valid subscription contract the upgrade to r65 license will be free of charge
