| Hi folks, I´m plaining upgrade our CheckPoint Firewall-1 4.1 for a NGX, but the license is the same ? Or I need buy other license ? Excuse for my noob question, but I need know more details about upgrade and licenses. Regards, Renato. |

| This is covered extensively in the upgrade guide. Spend some time reading it. You will need to upgrade your license. If you have support, you can upgrade the license. If you don't, you'll need to get a new license. 4.1 -> NGX requires a two-step upgrade - you need to go to FP3 HF2 first, then to NGX. If your rulebase is simple, it's probably easier to manually recreate stuff. |
