License IP Address does not match local machine's IP address

I am having problems installing a local license on a Nokia box with IPSO 3.7.1 installed on it. I have also installed Checkpoint VPN-1/FW-1 NG AI.

I have allocated the IP Address on the enforcement module which is the same as the ip address on the license.

I am using the “cplic put” command to install my license. However, when I try to install the license I get the following error:-

“This license cannot be installed on the local machine:
The license IP Address does not match any of the local machine's IP Addresses.
If this license has an IP Address of the SmartCenter Server, use SmartUpdate to
install it.”

I have checked that there are no licenses installed on this device and also can confirm by looking at Voyager configuration interfaces and ifconfig –a that the IP address ties up with the license that I am trying to install.

Can anyone please give me a hint as to what I might be doing wrong?

Why not just use central licenses?
