Default license not valid

Hi,

i´ve got a problem with my license on my nokia ip390, Checkpoint NGX R60

I installed the smartserver, works fine with the GUI Client and my Nokia with the test license 15 days.
When i insert via SmartUpdate my CP Licensens, i get on the appliance the following :
---
Warning: Can't find ::cpxp-ci-vpx-50-ngx in cp.macro. License version might be not compatible
---
I installed my license from file via smartupdate. if i insert my license via cplic on the nokia console, i get the same error...

The Ip Adresses are correct.

Anyone got an idea?

Greets, Michael

I think I remember seeing there is a hot fix available for this (cp.macro not updated) but call into TAC and sellect "Account Services". They can fix it for you

Hi,

The location of the cp.macro file is as follows.

/opt/CPshrd-R65/conf

You have to open and service request with checkpoint abt this issue. Then they will reply to with the cp.macro file. Just replace the old file with this new macro file.

Note:
Please backup the old macro file.

Regards,
Basha

Hi mweinberg,

Yep, i had the same issue. I was recommended to update cp.macro file and this worked. I was given an updated cp.macro file to replace mine with.

I notice you've brought a 50 user license.... any reason why? Just curious....
