additional license for mpu server

Hi, all
I want buy dual processor (Dell Power Edge) server for CP gateway.
Do I have to buy an additional license(liecense for multi processor system)?

Well, you can if you want to but don't think it's neccesary! 1 will do

If you'll buy VPN-1 Power Gateway CPPWR-VPG license or VPN-1 UTM Power Gateway CPUTM-VUP, you don't need additional SXL license because default they cointains it already.
License VPN-1 UTM Gateway CPUTM-VUG doesn't contain SXL.

Starting with NGX, the MPU license was unbundled from SXL. Now I'm not sure if Express NGX or UTM NGX includes the MPU license or not. That's one I'll have to check on.

In the last couple of weeks many questions arose around the licensing of Multi-CPU/Core platforms - following is the official statement:

"Starting from NGX, CPMP-MPU-1-NG license is no longer required when installing VPN-1 on multiple CPUs/Cores platforms - this allows the use of Security Servers and VPNx across Multiple CPUs/Cores.

Taking advantage of the full processing power of such platforms require the use of the "Performance Pack" Product - which offers a multitude of acceleration features (for the complete feature list please refer to the documentation of the product)."
