| We have got a globally distributed checkpoint environment. We are currently using local licensing. I was wondering if it is worth replacing local licenses with central licenses or not ? I know that central licensing has following benefits : A.The new license remains valid when changing the IP address of the Check Point Gateway. There is no need to create and install a new license. B.Only one IP address is needed for all licenses. C. A license can be taken from one Check Point Gateway and given to another. Are these benefits good enough to make me switch from local to central licensing ? Does anyone know of any other benefits which i might get by replacing local licenses with the central licenses ? Thanks for your precious comments or suggestions. Regards KJ Last edited by kj1978; 2006-07-27 at 00:34. |
