Default Step by step guide to changing Management IP Address

Hi all,

Does anyone have a step by step guide to changing the IP address of a Management server ?

I've got NG, running on a Nokia, with the Management Server running on Windows 2000.

I followed the following technote:

https://secureknowledge.checkpoint.c....do?id=sk18288

But ended up with the firewall module not starting up with an invalid license error (I think), and in the end had to revert back to the old address.

I figure I've probably done something out of sequence somewhere, but not sure exactly what. Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Cheers,
Rob

Always prepare some 30Days trial licenses before doing any upgrades or IP address stumbling. It was already explained somewhere in earlier posts.
