| We have an IP130 that appears in the SmartCenter but is no longer a device on the network. There is a 25 user license attached to the box in Smart Center but the box has been wiped and the software re-installed on it. I have seen the post about editing the license.c file and have been into the file and can probably work out which bit to remove...... Are there any problems with doing so - ie is the license.c file checksummed at all and if I remove the entry for the license I want to re-assign, will all my other devices say they're not licensed? Any help appreciated. DaveT |

| If you type 'cplic print' from the command line on the Nokia, it will show you the Check Point licenses that are installed on the appliance. If there is a license still on there that you don't want, you can remove it with the 'cplic -x license' command (or something like that). You may also be able to detach it from Smart Update but I would right click on the firewall and select get licenses first to make sure that smart update isn't just showing some cached information. |
