| Hi all, We asked to our seller to provide us two licenses for two check point express with up 50 users to use with Nokia IPSO in order to protect two separate Sites (and no to use this two firewalls in HA). The seller provide us with the following licenses: CPXP-SC1-50-NG and CPXP-HVPX-50-NG. Which are the differents between this licenses? Have the CPXP-HVPX-50-NG license used only for HA configuration (This is not what I want) or can I use it like CPXP-SC1-50-NG license? Thank |

| Maxcus, your reseller definitevely provided you with the wrong licenses! Presuming you need in both sites a gateway for not less than 50 users then the right licenses should have been: - CPXP-SC1-50-NG for the main site (SmartCenter Express for 1 site + VPN-1 Express gateway for 50 users) - CPXP-SXA-2-NG for the main site (SmartCenter Express add-on to control up to 3 sites) This is needed because the first bundle is not able to manage more than one site. - CPXP-VPX-50-NG for the remote site (VPN-1 Express gateway for 50 users) alternatively - CPXP-SC3-100-NG for the main site (SmartCenter Express for 3 sites + VPN-1 Express gateway for 100 users) - CPXP-VPX-50-NG for the remote site (VPN-1 Express gateway for 50 users) I would prefer the second solution. Now the only thing you can do to solve the problem is to ask for a Functionality Upgrade or a Trade In of the wrong licenses to get the right ones from your reseller. I would oblige your reseller to give you all these licenses whithout additional costs, eventually you have to pay only the difference between what you really needed and what you got.
