Default NGX and this eval period

Am i right in thinking that there is no longer a 15 day eval period where you can install and then uninstall the full product?

Is it now just a 30 day and thats your lot eval CD? [throw it away]

If there is a similiar 15 day eval to that of NG/AI can anyone point me in the right direction

Many Thanks

I use the same disks for all of my NGX installs. There is always an eval period when I do the install. I haven't tried uninstall/reinstalling to see if I get the same thing. Maybe it's stored in a registry. You can try using cpclean to remove all instances of CP to ensure there isn't anything left behind.

Lackie

I think you are my knight in shining armour at the moment ;)

I have CPclean - i just need the NGX software

What i mean is i dont have a copy of the NGX CD as i do with the NG/AI R55

I really need to start using the NGX but cant seem to find anyway of obtaining this software

Checkpoint tout a 30 day eval - but as mentioned before is there a 15 day eval ala R55 ?

many Thanks

Sorry let me get this right

I need a similiar CD to that of NG R55 but for NGX [15 day eval]

When i install NG/AI R55 i do not have to check in with checkpoints web site to register it

I just simply use it then blow the config way with cpclean and start all over again

Can i do the same for NGX?

Answers would be much appreciated!!!

You can get NGX CD kit from local CheckPoint partners or order from here https://www.checkpoint.com/GetSecure...NGX_OrderStart

You can download NGX SmartClients (and rum in demo mode) somewhere from CheckPoint site.
