Default How the policy based routing works

Hi All,

I have query regarding policy based routing.

We have two ISP configured and looking to route http traffic through one link and other applications through another link.

Please let me know is this configuration is possible under checkpoint R60 and also how effectively i can use ISP redunduncy in mentioned scenario.

Awaiting for your valueable reply.

as far as I know it's not with possible with ISP redunduncy, you have no influence which link is used while using (e.g.)loadsharing. Primary/Backup uses only one link, it switches to the secondary when the primary link goes down....so both options do not fill your requirements

Thanks for your reply.

But how i can go ahead about application routing through specific link.

it's like http traffic through one link and rest of all traffic through another link.

Just throwing some light here....

U can have the Leased Line router as the default gateway on the firewall. If the LL router (e.g Cisco) supports policy based routing, then u can redirect traffic to different gateways based on the application.
