Default IPv6 Routing

Hi all,
I've configured my SecurePlatform box with IPv6 according to the Checkpoint pdf. Everything is working, however I have a query on what the best way to configure routing on the firewall. Is it possible to use router discovery to pick up a default gateway? Also how would I add a static route that holds after a reboot?

Thanks

Log into SPLAT and use "sysconfig", add it from the Routing submenu.

Sysconfig only does IPv4 routes.

My apologies. An alternative is to put the route into /etc/rc.local, appending the command line version of the route command at the bottom of the file.

CP on SPLAT uses file /etc/sysconfing/neconf.C which is edited by sysonfig. The file contains information about ip on interfaces and about routes.

Just tested this out and adding the following to the end of /etc/rc.local does the trick:

/sbin/route -A inet6 add ::/0 gw <your gw>
