Hi

My name is Alan and I'm working as a network administrator working mainly with Cisco and Checkpoint. I'm CCNA certified and am hoping to get my CCSA in the next few months. I've supported CP NG AI in a production environment for approx 2 years.

My latest project is to build a new CP running NGX62 with VPN-1Power on a SecurePlatform Pro OS in a standalone enviroment. I think I'm going to need some help along the way.

The first problem I've encountered is in configuring the domain on my Gateway:

When I try Manually define the VPN Domain for my Gateway the option is greyed out?? If I add any extra Gateways I am able to add in the domain's without any problem??

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or leaving out??

Many thanks

For the gateway, under "General Properties" ensure that "Firewall" and "VPN" are checked and then define the topology for the firewall. This should enable you to specify a VPN domain.
