My name is John Banghart and I am the Director of Benchmark Services for the Center for Internet Security(CIS).

CIS is a not-for-profit user organization that produces a wide range of security configuration guides which are then made freely available to the public. Our process of creating these guides involves soliciting the help of experts from across the industry to review and comment on existing drafts. I encourage you to look at our web site to see the work our volunteers have done to date (http://www.cisecurity.org).

We currently have a draft for Check Point and are looking for interested people who would be willing to volunteer a couple of hours for a worthy community cause. We have a special mailing-list set up for this purpose and welcome anyone who feels they have something to contribute.
