Default Greetings from Phoenix, AZ

Hi

My name is James Fraze. I worked at Check Point, in the Dallas TAC doing phone support for about 2 years. I've learned a lot and have a lot to learn. I hope to contribute and be helpful in ways that help me to know the rest of you.

I am also a skilled Perl programmer and frequently work with web development along side of Check Point clustering products.

I have several certifications related to Check Point that I earned while working at the TAC in Dallas, TX.

Hopefully the bits and pieces of sparse knowledge I have will be helpful to others.

Please don't Personal Message me, I probably won't respond! :)

Thank you for the greetings.

Role is basically a network analyst & network engineer combined with focus on Cisco routing equipment, Check Point firewalls, several monitoring utilities/programs, SNMP, syslog, and some windows servers maintenance.

I script a few things here and there to help solve problems, but for the most part I just review reports and do maintenance schedules. Occasionally, I'll do some research or lab something out in vmware before we implement it.

Lots of paperwork, politics and meetings :)

James how's it going my friend. I wish I was in AZ, Texas is too damn cold and rainy this time of year.
