What Solaris 9 versions work with NGX?

Folks -

I'm doing a fresh install of NGX on a Sun Blade 1000 running Sol 9 9/05. This is my first NGX installation of NGX after many successful NG installs/upgrades.

I've successfully used Sol 9 9/04 in the past for NG installations, but I'm getting errors during "cpconfig" with NGX and 9/05. the error is:

Scanning for unknown interfaces...
IP forwarding disabled
Hardening OS Security: IP forwarding will be disabled during boot.
Generating default filter
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
cp: cannot access /opt/CPsuite-R60/fw1/state/default.bin
Cannot copy default filter to /etc/fw.boot

cpconfig: Configuration aborted




Since I've had some problems in the past with some Solaris sub versions, I'm leaning towards installing Soalris 9 9/04 instead.

So, has anyone had any luck witn NGX and Solaris 9 9/05? What Solaris 9 versions have you successfully installed NGX (fresh install)?

Looks as though I've answered my own question - Solaris 9 - 9/04 works like a charm with NGX and the 60A patch.

So stay away from Solaris 9 - 9/05.

I sure hope CP fixes this - soem newer boxes don't support 9/05, and you can't download 9/04 from the sun site anymore, as far as I know......
