Default IP380 reset interface IP

I'm new to cp and i'm trying to reconfigure this ip380 i purchased from ebay. The Ip scheme in the config doesn't fit my network and i only manage to reset the admin password after 48 hrs. It is running ipso 3.5 with R50 ( i think). The nokia site was not help because they only had information on ipso > 4.1. I want to be able to change the ip addresses in order to access voyager but i don't mind the cli either. Any help on how to get started will be appreciated. thanks in advance

Default Re: IP380 reset interface IP

I would suggest a clean rebuild of the box, rather then reconfiguraion.

If you can access the nokia site then this has details on how to do so from within Boot Manager using an FTP Server.

If you don't want to go the whole hog of a clean rebuild and IPSO install then just delete the existing config.

Login to the box.

cd /var/config

rm active

reboot

the active file in /var/config hold all of the IPSO config.

When the box reboots then it will begin the process of confguration asking for you to enter a hostname, admin password and if you want to configure an interface for Voyagaer Access.

Configure an interface up and then after the reboot has finished you can voyager into the box and start configuring the other interfaces, routes etc for the Nokia.
