Default UTM-1 Upgrade

I have UTM-1 450 box.....it has R65 upgrade CD with it.....when i am trying to install Smartcenter on it..in the process of upgrading it gives the message..."Upgrade Failed"..it gives this message after 50 min of processing in which it takes the snapshot, couple of times upgrade some package...in the error it does not mention the details or the reason of the error....what can be the reson of this?....I want install the smartcenter on this very UTM and then want manage other gateway through this UTM and smartcenter server....thanks

You say it has the upgrade cd with it. Is this the standard upgrade cd or the UTM-1 appliance specific cd.

Also I take it that the box has been configured and now trying to upgrade?
